How Tamesa Capital handles personal data and the messages submitted through the ASK feature on this site.
Tamesa Capital Limited ("we", "us") collects only the information needed to respond to enquiries and to operate this website.
Email enquiries
When you write to us by email, we receive your message and any contact details you choose to share. We use that information only to respond to you and to manage the matter, and we keep it for as long as needed for that purpose and any subsequent legal or regulatory obligation.
The ASK feature
Some ASK requests are handled by our server-side rules and are not sent to Anthropic. For other requests, your current message, up to four recent question-and-answer pairs, and limited context derived from the conversation and the page are transmitted through our hosting provider, Netlify, to Anthropic, which generates a response on our behalf.
We do not deliberately store ASK question or answer text in our own databases or application logs. A signed but unencrypted copy of up to four recent question-and-answer pairs and limited conversation state is temporarily held in your browser. It expires for server acceptance 30 minutes after it is issued.
The application does not explicitly forward your IP address, browser user-agent, referrer, cookies or geolocation to Anthropic. Netlify nevertheless receives technical information needed to host, secure and operate the request, as explained below.
The Anthropic organisation used for ASK has standard 30-day retention. Anthropic states that API inputs and outputs are deleted within 30 days, except where longer retention is needed to enforce its Usage Policy, comply with the law, or where a different service-specific or contractual arrangement applies. Content flagged by Anthropic’s automated safety systems may be retained for up to two years, and related safety-classification scores may be retained for up to seven years.
Anthropic states that commercial API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models unless the customer expressly opts in or submits qualifying feedback. Tamesa has not joined Anthropic’s Development Partner Programme, Anthropic user feedback is disabled for the organisation, and no API-content training opt-in is enabled.
Ratings submitted through the ASK interface do not send Anthropic the visitor’s question or the generated answer. The feedback request contains a signed response identifier, the rating and a controlled reason.
Please do not include confidential, personal, or material non-public information in ASK messages. If your matter is sensitive or specific, please email us instead at contact@tamesacapital.com.
Hosting and operational data
Our hosting provider, Netlify, receives technical request information needed to deliver and secure the site. Depending on the relevant service, this may include IP address, country, user-agent, referrer, requested path, request and response sizes, status, timing and request identifiers.
Netlify Observability and function logs are used to monitor operation and diagnose failures. Our application does not deliberately record ASK question or answer text in its function logs. Function logs are retained for seven days.
Netlify Web Analytics uses hosting and delivery logs to provide aggregate statistics about successful page views, estimated visitors, pages viewed, referral sources, broad visitor locations and bandwidth. It does not place analytics cookies or add a browser tracking script.
International transfers
Personal data processed through ASK may be processed outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. The Anthropic workspace used for ASK stores data in the United States and uses global routing for model inference. Global routing means that inference may run in any available processing geography; it would be inaccurate to say that every request is processed only in the United States.
Lawful basis
We process personal data where necessary for our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, operating and securing this website, and providing the ASK feature, except where those interests are overridden by your rights and interests.
Cookies
Netlify Web Analytics uses hosting and delivery logs to provide aggregate website statistics. It does not place analytics cookies or add a browser tracking script. We use these statistics under our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website, and not for advertising or individual profiling.
This site does not set analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser may store a small preference for your chosen colour theme. This is held locally on your device and is not deliberately included in an ASK request.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask what personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or erase it, to restrict or object to our processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
